Healing

One of the uses of the runes was for healing as many of the old spells, eg the Merseburger Spells, show. Even many years after the Norse have been overrun by the Christians the runes were still used for healing.

Old stories however also warn of the use of runes if one is not familiar enough with them.

Apart from the usual meaning, the runes can also be attributed to the two creating elements. The Norse attributed various illnesses to the lack of one of those elements, eg fever was an excess of fire and was countered with ice runes.

The runes can either be used to load a talisman and placed near the ill, load the medicine that one is supposed to take, drawn on the package of the medicine, send into the appropriate chakra or if you're so inclined drawn on cookies and then eaten.

Healing

Select the appropriate runes for the healing and form a bindrune.

Start with any opening you think is appropriate.

Stand in a comfortable and balanced manner, relax and calm down. A good way to do this is by breathing exercises.

Fill yourself with pure energy by your preferred method, eg Chi Gong or Tai Chi.

Then start with loading the bindrune. When the final sigil has been formed before you, the bindrune is either projected into the talisman, into the chakra of the ill or the medicine etc, depending on the manner of which you chose to administer the runes to the patient.
